Production of pharmaceuticals is often performed in multiphase flow systems, such as gas-liquid-solid, gas-solid, liquid-liquid or gas-liquid. Computational Fluid Dynamics and other methods such as the Discrete Element Method are the common methods to predict this phenomena.
These types of simulation are extremely complex and require often a multiphysics calculation, which can be coupled with several computational codes. SES-Tec provides support in the selection of a suitable computational platform and software. Furthermore we extend and develop coupling methods and validate obtained simulation results.
